        We are a recycling center as well as an auto salvage. We will purchase your ferrous metals such as your junk automobiles, washers, dryers, dish washers and other scrap metals you may accumulate. We also buy all of your non-ferrous metals to include copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, and electronic scrap in the form of computers only.         I found American Auto Salvage & Recycling by accident when I came to Yelp to write a negative review of a similar business in Deland. I wish there were more stars I could give to American Auto Salvage & Recycling!

        I was looking for a location to sell my 1997 Mercury Cougar XR7 (great condition inside, ran great, needed outside cosmetic TLC) and am SO HAPPY to have found this company. It is run extremely professionally with owners/employees that make one feel almost like family. Special thank-yous to Kenny who was my first contact via phone, Jeff who towed my car to the facility, and Josh who weighed the car and completed the financial transaction.

        If I ever need spare parts for my current car, I know where I'm going!!!
