Kay Jewelers

I loved this place for years, I was so proud to say my jewelry was from Kays, but now I caution everyone before buying anything that is warranty worthy. I am in the midst of a situation with my engagement ring purchased with the warranty. Apparently if you send off a ring to get fixed Kays will allow the vendor that made the ring to manipulate the make and look of the ring, with no warning. It's so heart breaking! I love my ring. It's been over 4 months that I've been without it when the store calls and says sorry the vendor won't fix it the way it was so I could either keep it, with it being a different style than before or exchange it for an equal value ring.. I am so crushed. I want the same look that was purchased for me! How could they? So I opted to call the home store and waiting to hear back to see if anything can be done, the ring fixed to its original look or made from scratch. I pray this company cares enough to fix what they messed up. Isn't that what the warranty is for?
