Purvis Automotive

I have used Purvis Automotive for more than six years as my automotive repair shop. Jim Purvis understands that I have older vehicles and I do not want to spend more on repairs than what the vehicle is worth. He has always been reasonably prices and upfront with his diagnosis. I have come to know him as a man of integrity. Recently, after doing several hours of work on my vehicle, he determined that the problem was much simpler than what he originally had believed. He only charged me for the fixing the problem not his original diagnosis. Without me asking he reduced my bill. I am sure he lost money on that repair. When I was paying, he told me that is the only way he can run his business. As long as he is in business I will take my vehicle to Purvis Automotive.

I have to disagree with the other review. I've known Jim Purvis for over 32 years and have never seen him act in this manner. I worked with him at another job before he opened his business and used him several times for my auto repair before I moved from the area. I would and have recommended him.
