Wally's Chowder House

there clam showder is ok, there fish and chips are reminiscent of skippers for twice the money. Not terrible but nothing special either

Well I not only grew up in the seafood industry, Mom owned a fish/chowder house, dad was a commercial fisherman, but I'm also a chef. So I'm pretty critical when it comes to price, and freshness. Sorry mom they beat your great chowder, its done right, the fish is beyond fresh, only fresher is fillet it as it is pulled on board. I have ate there twice a month for 5 years, my wife loves it because as she says "you eat and keep your mouth shut on presentation and delivery" look who's critical

Now the wait staff, what can you say but very nice, very prompt and very aware when to step in to refill drinks.



the old guy who owns this has it to good but i cant rip him

but i have noticed hes putting on weight lol
