This location is much better than other spots I've been to. They offer great prices, amazing deals and fast service.

Best Auto Shop out there. I got quotes from near by shops for a tune up and engine job, and the prices were far to high. I took in my vehicle to University Auto for a quote since I work at the University near by, and they gave me the lowest price and on top the manager offered me a 20 percent discount which brought the price even lower. My vehicle was ready at the time that was promised, and they did a wonderful job. I would like to send them a special thanks and would strongly recomend to everyone!

University is a one stop shop for auto repair Im a student at Wayne state and on way to school I notice that every time I apply the brakes it was a grinding sound. Good thing it was 25mins before I had to be at class so I seen the shop on Cass & stopped in wtithin 5mins they where able to gef my car in & inspect it truns out I needed brakes & rotors all the way around and a inner & outer rod on the left for the steering but they said it would take abt three hours it was bad so I had to leave it they even gave me a ride to the school after I came back after class the was ready & riding perfect thanks university auto right on time!!!!

I used to get diagnostic work done at Firestone for thoroughness, and then take it to a cheaper place for the work itself. Now I just go to University Auto, where they do the work right, and at a very reasonable price. Where Firestone wanted $650 for a big exhaust issue, University Auto got it done properly for about $200. Since then, it's the only place I go. There is a 20% off for new customers, so give that a shot. The guy who works the front desk, Ya Ya, is a real gem who takes pride in getting you in and out and served well. I'm really sorry for the people who had a bad experience. Again, I'm really surprised. Maybe Ya Ya is what has made the difference for me.

They worked on my toyota many time and i find that they do a good work, reasonable prices, i live downtown and i find them very convenient, and last time they were nice enough to give me a ride to work, thank u guys.

They manage to keep their prices low and their attitudes great, even when they are really busy (like today). They were crowded today and still managed to finish my car before the time they told me. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

my car broke down in downtown detroit, they towed my car, after an hour i got a call it was a water pump, they fixed it and i was able to be back on the road same day, very convenient and the price was fair, they even replaced my brakes that were bad and i didnt know about , my car now is much better, and my brakes dont grind no more

Great customer service and fast affordable repairs! Had transmission trouble with my Subaru and was able to get it in and out in before the weekend, they even gave me a ride back when it was finished. Thanks guys for all your help!

One of the finest auto mechanic shops I've ever patronized. there is no where else that they've ever treated my car like it was theirs. I love this place and the old guys who have a take only fine cars attitude. that's what I'm willing to pay for since I pay the cost to drive (bmw 325I) like a boss. they're in my neighborhood so that means they'll drop you off at home when you drop off your vehicle for scheduled service. conveniently located on cass near burton school at peterboro

Amazing service and very friendly staff. I went in there for an engine job and they offered the best estimate and warranty in town. The mechanics did a great job on my Jetta. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
