The Modern Maturity Center offers various health care and support services for the elderly. It offers various programs, including retired and senior volunteer programs that offer opportunities to adults age 55 and above for serving the community in a variety of interest areas. It provides free volunteer placement and supplemental accident and liability insurance. Its senior community service employment program is designed to provide participants with subsidized, temporary training to help them develop their work skills and prepare them for permanent and unsubsidized employment. The center s daybreak adult day care is a structured and supervised daytime program designed for frail and functionally impaired seniors. Its primary purposes are to enable older adults to remain in their homes, provide respite to caregivers, and enhance the quality of life through social activities and medical supervision.
