My cousin who has PTSD and depression went here for years. She saw four different Therapists, two of which ' let her go' saying the problems they set out to fix were resolved (they weren't), one of which never took her seriously and on a regular basis would laugh at her during her sessions even when my cousin was crying and the fourth therapist 'let her go' because she missed too many appointments. This would be understandable for a regular patient but my cousin is also somewhat agoraphobic (afraid to leave the house) and her therapist knew that but still said that my cousin wasn't serious about getting help and this is why she was dropped as a patient by the fourth therapist (who was actually a very good therapist....Sue something or other). My cousin's doctor there keeps putting her on more and more medications and it's making her worse. The doctor also made fun of her and my cousin complained about it to the director and as a result was then threatened by the doctor that she would be put away and put on an an anti psychotic. We've searched for a new doctor and place which takes medicare and medicaid but only found Great Bay Mental health which we heard very bad things about. I am at a loss to help her..... the people who nee the most help get messed up even more because they can't afford the better insurance which pays for the better doctors and therapists....
