Downey Hand Car Wash & Detail Center

I've been going to Downey Hand Car Wash for about 12 years now. The service is good most of the time. However I've noticed that it is excellent when ever Carlos or Enrique help me with my car. Carlos is always friendly and caring and greets me with a smile. He always sees to it that my car is well taken care of. He has a really good attitude that has been consistent throughout the time I've been going to DHCW. It's people like him who make it more worth while to keep entrusting my car to DHCW.

I have been going to Downey Hand Car Wash for over seven years and the reason I am a returning customer is because the employees take care of my truck. There have been rear moments when I have taken my truck in and there was dry mud on the side of the bed. In those rear instances Enrique the supervisor will run my truck through the car wash twice if he is not satisfied the way it came out the first time; therefore, thank you Enrique and your fellow workers for the detail service given to my truck.

Unless you want the most basic of car washed I would not recommend this place. I have been going here for years for the basic car wash but this time wanted to go all out.

I took my car to get a wash and a good hand wax, expecting to pay around $100. The employee that looked at my car and took my order told me that "a good hand wax" for my car would only be $45.00 and that it came with a wash. My car looked no different when I picked it up 2 hours later. The exterior had no shine to it and was still covered with dirt marks. The interior was nicely vacuumed but the dashboard, doors, and radio console were still dirty and very dusty. I asked one of the managers what I had paid $45 for and was told that my car needed a different kind of wax and that the one I paid for "doesn't do anything." The manager offered to do a more expensive wax, that I was not even told about before, and charge me the additional fee. So disappointed by the work already done, I declined. In the end I spent $45 to have my car vacuumed and shot with a hose. I took my car home and washed it myself.

Prices are fair. Massage chairs. Well conditioned rest area. I like it!

Im a repeated customer here and I just love how nice the car wash and people are here.The car wash is surrounded with the best gas priced station here in Downey. the inside of the waiting room area is very delighted and there is plasma tv and massaging chairs so I have no problem waiting for my car to get clean here.they always do an excellent job at cleaning my cars and I always enjoy their promotions on their great priced services.their employees are always letting me know of these promotions but you can also go on their site for promotions. I would definitely recommend them!
