Rite Rug Flooring

In March, 2023, our water heater failed and flooded half of our basement level rooms. On April 6, 2023, we went to several flooring businesses, one was RiteRug Flooring. We met with the only salesperson working for an hour while he intermittently assisted other customers, and we selected carpeting and vinyl flooring. On March 10th that same salesperson was at our home for 30 minutes measuring. When he left, he said he would email the estimate later that day, or the following day. By midday on Friday, April 14th we had not received anything , so we called. Our salesperson was off, but the employee who answered the phone said he would relay our message. When we had not received an email or telephone call by late morning on Monday, April 17th, we called the business again. We were able to reach our salesperson who at first told us he may have had the wrong email address, and later stated he needed more time to complete the estimate. We explained to him we needed to receive his estimate “shortly, “ or we would have to move on. Today is Friday, March 21st and we never received an email, estimate or telephone call. Had we received a reasonable estimate from RiteRug Flooring we would have gone with them. We didn’t find anything we liked better.

If RiteRug couldn’t provide us an estimate 11 days after having visited our home to take measurements, how long would it take them to install the flooring or return to our home after the flooring was installed, if there was a problem?
