Overall

A special place to celebrate special events. A bit pricey, but the food is as good as it gets, the service is top notch, and the ambience is wonderful. But be warned: it is in a 240 year old house, which can be drafty near the windows and overly warm near the fireplace in the winter. There is a pub with dining tables in the cellar, which is warm and cozy if you are not claustrophobic. It is well worth a visit for a glass of wine or cocktail before dinner or a sip of sherry or cognac after dinner. It is easy to believe it was once a speakeasy.

A local favorite of mine

We decided to try this because of the price fix menu. Excellent meal and wonderful service.
