        It was so great I liked it very much except the cheesecake but evening else was great and the waitors and weightresses were very nice.

        General Info
        Beijing Bistro is owned and operated by two generations of the Chen family, who believe that all of their customers' appetites should be competely met at affordable prices. The legacy began with Chef Ping-Chen, who served as a head chef for the government of taiwan before being lured to the U.S. in 1979 by the owners of Hunan, a successful restaurant chain in San Francisco, CA. In the early 1980s, while living in California, Ping entered a chef's competition in the China Town District of San Francisco. Ping placed third out of more than 1,000 contestants in 1985; Ping was lured by opportunity once again. He relocated with his family to Kansas City where he assisted in running a chain of eight restaurants. Realizing that the Midwest offerd value and opportunity, Ping moved the family to the wichita area where he opened his first generation, family-owned Beijing Bistro in Augusta. Soon Ping added a second location in El Dorado. Twelve years later, with an expanding menu the Chen family recently opened their third location in Wichita .
