Nilssen's Foods

Prices are terribly high. One item I was buying there, went for $4.99 to $8.99 when Nilssens bought this store. The variety of brands dropped to mostly Our Family, and all the prices went sky high. I also had a bad experience with a female manager, and not only was she rude but she then proceeded to talk to other employees about me. I haven't gone back since. I work out of town so I have other shopping options, but I feel badly for those that can't get out of town because of age and lack of transportation. There are many that feel the same way. A new store in town would be great!

Their boiled eggs went from $3.99 to $7.99 over night. When regular eggs are .99 cents a dozen in their store this week and .75 cents a dozen at Aldis. I asked the woman manager on duty why? She was very rude and answered we don't set the prices, (well someone does) ? I think that's a very big price hike don't you? It just makes it a little easier to go somewhere else. The workers there are very nice, except if you run into a mean one she is over all the cashiers, seems hard for her to pleasant to the customers and they have her the one over all? At least her attitude hasn't rubbed off on the others. You would think that they would value their customers more than that with so much competition out there. I guess it's their choice.
