Jet Peru is not what I expected. I had sent out a package on April 19, 2008. It was five small/medium bottles of vitamins for my father in Lima, Peru. I was told it would reach him within a week. A week passed and NADA. With no reasonable excuse, but that he could check back within two days. TWO DAYS, turned into TWO WEEKS and still my dad in Peru had not received anything. We were told different things. In the New York office we were told by the receptionist or secretary, with no customer service skills whatsoever the package was already in PERU.



My dad, in the Lima Office, was told by the secretary that the packaged had not yet arrived. Then it had arrived, then his name was not in the computer, then his named appeared, then his package was in the US Customs, blah, blah, blah, blah. All this BS. And then it had arrived. This lack of communication between the two offices, discouraged me profoundly and I will look someplace else before even thinking of sending anything out with this company, especially since my package was not big at all.



I was even contemplating in sending 4 luggages through them at $150.00 a piece, but now, I will definitely not use this company. Its frustrating when they say to the recipient to pick up the package only to go and then be turned away. Its insane. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and they will not get your shipped items to your loved one.



I am from Peru and I am a big supporter of anything of my Country, but the service was terrible and I wanted to get this accross to anyone thinking of using them since they will be disappointed, frustrated and very angry.
