This review is based solely on the care my dog received, or lack thereof. I want to make it known that the front desk staff, as well as the vet techs here are all wonderful.
I was referred here 3 years ago when I moved to the Lehigh Valley by a coworker who had great things to say about Dr. Payne. He was right, but about 2 years ago, Dr. Payne left the practice. I decided to stick around anyway.
Beginning in November, my pug got a case of bad diarrhea. When it stuck around for more than 2 weeks and a bland diet didn't help, I brought her in to VCA. Long story short- 5 or 6 vet visits...2 wrong diagnoses(with no real logic behind them)...$1500 spent with my dog not getting any better and no plan of how to get her better...all of this after 3 months- They just continued to throw the same medication at my dog and said give it time. Not to mention, the vets here knew she wasn't getting any better and didn't try and call to check in or anything of the sort. I called in to let them know how disappointed I was with the whole situation and was assured that the manager would 100% call me back- but I had to be patient because her daughter was sick. No problem. Well that was a month ago- and no phone call, so here I am...Please save your money and take your beloved animals elsewhere. In my opinion, this place is overrated and expensive- and I am fine with spending the money, but only if I am getting quality care. My dog definitely did not receive that here.
