If there is a significant history of vein problems involving other family members (including varicose veins, sores, wounds or blood clots), you may be at greater risk.
Lesions
Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), spider vein laser treatment has proven highly effective in treating facial spider veins. It has also been used to treat, rosacea, pigmented lesions (lentigines and freckles), skin tags, keratosis, and other similar imperfections. Although results may vary from patient to patient, multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve optimal results. Regular use of sunscreen is recommended to prevent the risks of developing new facial spider veins.
