Sterling Precision Optics consistently maintains more than 50,000 pounds of optical glass in stock. The company is a multi-faceted optical component manufacturer with the capability to supply a wide variety of optics and precision machined glass. Its equipment base has grown to include high speed polishing, band sawing, drilling, coating and grinding. All machining, tempering and coatings are done in-house. Sterling Precision Optics product line includes lenses, windows, mirrors, filters, tempering and coating. The company is a certified supplier to the United States government, as well as many other larger contractors. Founded in 1958, Sterling Precision Optics is located in Evanston, Ill.
