This is definitely the type of shop that I would love to visit from time to time. Great bike accessories and parts. What else could I ask for.

I have gone here for bicycle repair 3 times in the last year. All three times I was seen immediately, and my issues which ranged from brake failure to shifter repair were handled in less than 20 minutes. I go here for my bicycle needs even though there I bike shops that are closer to my home because the cost for repairs is so low, and I get immediate service. I would recommend Tim's bike shop to anyone who rides.

My experience was great. I had a flat tire, so I dropped my bike off with the instruction to "just fix it". I expected to pay for a new tire and tube and labor. When I picked up the bike I was just charged for the tube because they thought the tire was fine. The charge was $10 total. Expecting to have to pay much more than that (I had already been quoted a minimum of $60 at another shop) I opted to buy a helmet while I was there. They fitted me for one and off I went.
Unfortunately, by the time I went to offload the bike from my car's bike rack the tire was flat again. I called the shop, they had me bring it back, replaced the tube again this time with a new tire and charged me another $15. They explained why they had missed the problem the first time; (the explanation sounded quite plausible to me) apologized for the inconvenience and in the process made a satisfied customer.
The owner was there both times and did the work himself the second time. He explained that he purchased the shop from the original owner almost a year ago. I liked the feel of the place, a small shop with personnel willing to talk to customers. Many thumbs up!!!

I just read the previous review and had to write one to set the record straight. I've had my son's bike tuned and have ordered parts from Tim's as well. They are helpfull, afordable and honest like a small local bike shop should be. When I was having a problem with my bike they gave me helpful advice over the phone. I would recomend them to anyone.

I had a bad run in at this shop on a bike tune up. Alot of parts were not tuned. Brakes were resting on the tires, fenders were also resting on the tires, and little things here and there were not up to par. When I talked to the bike shop about it they took no ownership of the problem ....wish someone posted earlier to warn me.
Just want to give my review because there was none I hope this one sticks.
