Volkswagen of Fallston

I can speak to their used car policies. My Opinion> Complete waste of time! They added 2000.00 + dollars to what was a decent advertised sale price on a used car and that was before sales tax, title or tags. We drove a long distance for this ripoff. They told us all used cars they sell automatically get 1499.00 added to any sale for state inspection, any used car they sell. Then more fees on that. Another 480.00 if they bought the car at an auction. Another 400.00+ for the detail-man, another cople hundred because they have state inspectors on-site. The car advertised at 14,988.00 was at 16 998 and that was before tags and tax's. What a rip-off. They tried to tell me the inspection fee's were Maryland law but I checked and its just ripoff price markup. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere. They look like they used to be reputable. The bussiness must have gotten away from the owner. I'm old school, where reputaion is worth way more than margin.

This dealership offers low prices online, but when you get to the dealership that add a $2000 reconditioning fee to the vehicles. I was never informed of this fee once. The salesman promised the price as advertised, but they write up the paperwork for several thousand dollars more. Unless you read everything closely chances are you car will cost several thousand dollars more than the price they tell you!!! I would strongly reccomend not buying from here!!

I took my car in for service. Mike was great and took care of me.

Please, go ANYWHERE else besides Cook VW. I purchased a used car there about a month and a half ago. I beleive they are con artists and fraudulent. They will stop at nothing to sell you a car, incuding lying, giving false information, etc etc. They led me to believe they were lowering the overpriced used car to bring my payments to where I needed it but instead they did not drop a dime but extended the loan terms by a year and 3 months! They sent us to the finance dept at 10:45 PM where all the lights were off except a dim light in his office and shuffled papers in front of me to sign without being able to read them, when i discovered what they did, they refused to do anything about it. Now there is a major problem with the car that will cost $1,200 to fix! They also ADDED an additionaL ~1,500 to the already overpriced sale price and said it was for dealer fees and reconditioning! Come on now...$1,000 to hose down a car!? Ridiculous! I would not recomend buying a car here to my worst enemy,

Let me share my saddest experience with Cook VW in Fallston, MD.

I got 2002 VW Jetta end of July 2008. Not going to deep details

I just wanna say that selling dealership committed fraud to my credit application,

extended warranty contract and other things of that kind. It's been 3 months

since my purchase and the vehicle is literally falling apart.

I found out that the car was smashed and repainted. I changed 3

batteries already and there is a list of parts that are about to die soon.

Seems like something bad is going to come up. The car is extremely unreliable.

The Cook guys really wanted to get me approved for this pile of metal.

They will do anything to get rid of crap for good money. It's a shame

I realized it too late. At this moment the car can drive me nowhere, but court house!

My advice for buyers is to think twice before getting VW and hundred of times

before dealing with Cook VW. If you wanna get ripped off and screwed that is

the ideal dealership to go.
