Sears Optical

I spent $220 on JUST the High index lens for my son (per their recommendations) because my son has always had to deal with thick, heavy glasses due to prescription.

I got this type of lens over the polycarbonate lens because they said it would be much much thinner than the polycarbonate lens.

Well...

We picked them up yesterday 8/30/2015 and they are just as thick if not thicker than his polycarbonate lenses. We asked if this is the correct lens and the women that was helping us asked the more senior woman to identity to make sure. The more senior women actually "flicked" (yes... Flicked) the lens and said "yup, it makes a differant pitch so that's how I know" and handed them back to the lady.

There is NO WAY These are the thinnest like I asked for... No way!



Oh. And I was VERY upset when the 1st lady helping us gives my son his new glasses and when he puts them on says to him ,

"oh, wow, your eyes look huge in those! But they look good"

REALLY???? , way to go Sears optical... making a kid want to wear there glasses!!!!
