I have worked with Dr. West for 10+ yrs.as office mgr. and nurse and NEVER in my 20+ yrs of experience working in the medical field have I come across a more highly intelligent, hardworking,devoted & compassionate physician as Dr. West! His medical training is impecable & overachieved from delivering 450+ babies during his internship, becoming a highly respected Flight Surgeon serving our Country for the Navy/Marines, acing medical school and Osteopathic school and going on the extra 4 years to become the first D.O. to be chief resident achieving his Board Certified title! I take personal pride in educating patients to what all a Doctor of Osteopathic medicine/Sports Medicine/Family Practice/Board Certified Physician such as Dr. West all rolled in to one, we call it "One Stop Shopping from womb to tomb". He is able to exude his knowledge in all fields of medicine saving patients from having to go to seven different sub specialists. being able to maintain his title requires him to constantly attend medical conferences on his own time and daily reading and writing about the latest drugs, interactions, and better quality care to pass on to his patients. And in his "spare time" he is also training medical students who shadow him and is preceptor for several well known universities like Touro. Our devoted patients realize this is one added bonus to having Dr. West's expertise and excellent rapport. They are being patient while our office is under going changes and having him doubling his work load of previous partners who abandoned their patients, while he has the challenge of educating these patients to HIS way of practicing medicine. Which doesn't included supplying a patient with a 90 supply of a medication that needs to be constantly monitored with lab draws and more frequent visits! Unfortunately those patients that feel he is just trying to get "extra money" for seeing him more often, or feel he is rushed and arrogant will eventually find out that the grass isn't greener when it comes to quality of medical care for your body and keeping your family healthy!! The money physicians these days is NOT the status quo impression people have envisioned (thanks Obama Care) so trust me when I say it is physically repulsive inputting insurance payments of $2.00 for a complete physical or $4.50 for an Osteopathic manipulation!! So, Dr. West's decision of becoming strictly a Concierge Physician is entirely due to cut back on hurried appointments, offering a bookfull of necessary labs only our office conducts, and basically giving our entitled patients carte blanche 24/7 care! Isn't that what we all deserve for ourselves and our families? I hoping this will educate patients to seek out the type of medical care YOU deserve and our office will be your first choice. I myself after being part of it would go NO where else! Stay Healthy....

West is The most rude, conceited, arrogant doctor I have ever seen. I had a great experience with Dr. Resciniti, who left the practice. I lost 50lbs. My meds were getting titrated. He challenged me to work out. He was everything you want when you choose a DO. I had to go see West to discuss my latest blood tests and a possible surgical procedure. He went over the blood test so fast I didn't get anything out of it. I got the feeling he wanted to be anywhere but in that exam room. When I wanted to discuss a situation that might have required surgery, he told me that if I was part of his concierge service, he could take the time to do that. As it turns out, my new DO, who IS GREAT got me to the surgeon immediately and the surgery is in December. This could turn out to be serious. I'm glad that I had the presence of mind to see another doctor.



Dr. West was unprofessional in his opinion about Dr. Resciniti and the doctor he replaced. The two times I had to see West he would rant about the affordable care act. Again, very unprofessional.
