I agree with the previous review regarding promises of better things to come that never come, and the supposed turf program. The "turf program" took place during prime turf growing season, only the season is over and there's no turf. Furthermore, no actions were ever taken to actually produce turf. I don't think they want turf because they would then have to pay someone to maintain it. My parents and grandparents chose their plots decades ago. I just lost my mom a few months ago. I was told the new owners were making a lot of improvements. When we buried my mom, I thought the turf looked bad mainly because it was wintertime. Joke's on me. Looks worse now. My mother's grave has no grass and a hole big enough to stick your whole arm in, or break a leg in it. Were her parents not buried there, and had she not chosen that resting place herself, I would have her body moved to another cemetery. Families shouldn't have to deal with the added emotions caused by the pathetic conditions of the gravesites of their loved ones while dealing with the overwhelming emotions from the loss of their loved ones. Pathetic, inexcusable, criminal behavior in order to save a buck. I, and many others, are upset about the name change as well, but that's minor in comparison to the appalling conditions of the cemetery, lack of respect for the deceased and their families, and the lack of integrity and common decency of the elusive "new owners". Almost forgot to mention the outrageous fees they charge for doing things they don't even do, but that's another long story.

Since changing to Eternal Hills, this cemetary has taken a LARGE turn downhill. They have a sign by the road stating the turf is being repaired/replaced. That signs been there all year and there is nothing but weeds for turf and they never get cut. As Sunset Memorial they always keep everything looking nice. The road is crumbling and when they dig a gravesite, it's the creepiest thing. They put 'crime scene' tape all around it and leave junk laying all over the place. Tacky....tacky. Where the heck did these new owners come from?? They don't deserve a star but I had to give one in order to post this.
