Provided by DexKnowsI usually don't write reviews, but I have a wholly different experience with this clinic than the last review, so thought I should speak up. This clinic's staff, and in particular Dr. Schramm, are professional, caring, and very knowledgeable. I have many cats and dogs, some with medical problems ranging from kidney and thyroid issues, cancer, etc. Dr. Schramm always spends a great deal of time with me explaining the medical issues and my options. In fact, on more than one occasion, he has recommended that I not pursue a more costly option (even though I was prepared to do it). Honestly, I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone else. My animals, and I, receive great care here from people who actually CARE and don't try to rush me off when I asked incessant questions! I highly recommend Paws 'n Claws, without hesitation. You won't be disappointed!

Provided by DexKnowsI had a very bad experience at this clinic last spring. My cat was sick with what appeared to be a UTI. I took her to Paws 'N Claws since it was nearby. Big mistake. In essence, the vet wanted to charge me several hundred dollars before he even looked at her urine under a microscope. When I realized what was going on, knowing that the most reasonable approach at the time would have been an inexpensive course of antibiotics - I went to pick her up and take her to another clinic. Note that I refused the extensive procedures that the vet was attempting to sell me, yet I was still charged $200 for an unnecessarily extensive blood panel. This vet is amongst the most profit-hungry and rude professional I've interacted with in years. Interestingly, I previously wrote a review of this very unfortunate experience when it happened, but that review has vanished from the internet... I wonder how long this one will survive.

Provided by DexKnowsThe vets at Paws N Claws treat every animal with wonderful care, respect, and kindness. Procedures are explained, the pet's stress level is kept to a minimum. When emergencies happen, they are calm, capable, and confident, even in the face of an owner falling apart. Costs are extremely reasonable, there's no over-testing. The staff and the doctors are professional and keep their education current. It's a joy to work with them for the health of my pets
