Dr. Van Sickler earned his medical degree from Florida State University in 2015. He then went on to complete a General Surgery residency at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina where he was elected to serve as the Chief Resident in his final year. He went on to complete a competitive and rigorous fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He learned advanced open and endovascular techniques in the treatment of the wide breadth of arterial and venous disease. Dr. Van Sickler is Board Certified/Board Eligible in both General and Vascular Surgery.

Our Access Center was opened in 2009 with the goal of achieving the best patient outcomes, and providing the best possible service for our patients. We provide advanced vascular surgery techniques and endovascular intervention to every patient who enters our access center. Our vascular surgeons specialize in the management of dialysis accesses, with the goal of reducing avoidable hospitalizations. This is less invasive for our patients while providing a comfortable and caring atmosphere
