Florida Walk In Medical Clinic

I went to Florida Walk In Medical Clinic for my COVID-19 vaccine. I had an allergic reaction to the first dose and was injected with Benadryl at the clinic. When I returned for my second dose, the clinic staff refused to give me the shot stating it goes against the CDC's guidelines for reactions to the first dose. Dr. Rahman refuses to provide me with documentation as to why I was denied the second dose and now is delaying the release of my medical records. When the staff is not hanging up on me, they are changing the requirements on my attempts to get my records released. I am protected by the law to have these records provided and done so in a timely manner. What is Dr. Rahman hiding? Do I need to get an attorney involved?

The doctor was very unprofessional. He lacked bedside manner and refused to make eye contact with me. Instead he spoke to the "nurse" and expected her to relay information back and forth even tho I was sitting right there. I ended up leaving after he told me how i should discipline my 2 year old who was in my lap at the time. The office furniture is very old and so is the equipment in the examination room.

The staff at this clinic was very courteous and professional. The physician, however, treated me as a non- person. When the physician entered the treatment room I extended my hand and introduced myself. The physician did not offer his name. Next the physician sat (rather slouched) down in a chair and began asking questions about me and my medical history of the assistant. Not once did the physician make eye contact with me or direct a question or statement to me. He spoke of me as if I were not in the room. Again, without input from me he told the assistant what tests, drugs, etc we're going to be ordered for me. The physician had not even examined me! I will never use this clinic again.

This is personally the best doctor office I have ever been to. The service is great. I went there with a cold, after the doctor saw me and gave me some samples, I was much better. I would recomend this docotor to anyone I know. The prices are low, they work fast, and you probably will get better!
