Dental Care
Maintaining your pet’s oral health is an important part of his overall care. We offer comprehensive dental care by performing routine dental cleaning, digital dental x- rays, and advanced tooth extractions under general anesthesia.
Vaccination
Rabbit hemorrhagic disease is a serious and extremely contagious viral disease of domesticated and wild rabbits. Since 2020, the RHDV2 strain has become endemic in California. Due to the high risk of mortality, we advise all rabbits (both indoor and outdoor) to receive the vaccination. We offer the Medgene vaccination at Brook-Ellis Pet Hospital.
Comprehensive Examination
We advise scheduling an annual examination for younger animals, and a twice per year physical exam as your furry friend enters the senior years. Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It is best to keep a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. It is also very helpful to share any photos or videos of unusual behavior or physical issues. Our Doctors will review your pet’s medical and diet history, and any previous medical records that you provide, and perform a “nose to tail” examination. Leptospirosis is a disease that affects humans and animals and is caused by bacteria called Leptospira. Humans get infected through contact with urine (or other body fluids, except saliva) from infected animals, or through contact with water, soil, or food contaminated with the urine of infected animals. We advise that all dogs receive the annual leptospirosis vaccination to keep your entire family safe.

Dr. Kayleigh Marlin grew up in Orange County before moving to Colorado for nine years, where she enjoyed life at 5000 feet while completing her undergraduate and veterinary medicine studies at Colorado State University. She returned to Orange County following graduation in May 2021, where she worked elsewhere before starting at Baker Bristol in November 2022. Dr. Marlin lives in Anaheim with her Siberian Huskies and her cat. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and dog training and competitions. As a veterinarian, Dr. Marlin has special interest in multimodal pain management, behavior, and dentistry; she is also excited to further explore reproductive medicine and exotics. She looks forward to getting to know you and your pets!
