Food was terrible. Got haddock fish dry no flavor, fries not cooked. ,

Great food, great service, and they do great for birthdays free desert.

My father & Uncle took my Grandfather to Cracker Barrel every Saturday at the same time. He would order the same thing every time & let me tell you he is not easy to please, ask the nurses at the VA in Marion IN, he wanted something like 9 packets of honey, so many pieces extra of chicken tenderloins or sometimes catfish. Don't forget the sliced tomatoes, he would sprinkle sugar on those. Those waitresses were absolutely perfect to him! They had a smile & a wink for him everytime he was there. It was the highlight of his week. I suppose the reason for choosing this Resteraunt to begin with was because it reminded him of my grandma's cooking. When he passed those waitresses came to his funeral! Now that is service with a caring smile!

Don't go if you have a headache. The hard floors and wood paneled walls bounce sound around and magnify it. And if you're seated near the fireplace, prepare to slowly roast until you're medium-well. Food is exactly what you'd expect from the chain.
