Geneseo Square Cinemas

Geneseo Theatres is a small town 6 screen theatre that for the most part has good projection and sound. Usually the sides show dirt on the screen, and the black stuff on the sides of the screen are not always adjusted to the size of the picture. The lighting on the screen for the most part is good, but sometimes it seems like the light is dim. The overhead lights are not as dim as they could be and this distracts from the enjoyment. There are seats in all of the screens that are pulled out of the floor. Probably due to feet on the seats, that the management does not do anything to stop. In the big theater, the seats squeak, and probably need new springs and lubrication. The lobby is beautiful, but the restrooms (Mens), have holes in the walls, missing floor tiles, and needs a lot of work. When figureing out the distance to a better quality theater (Regal Henretta 18 is just 20 minutes north, sometimes it is well worth the expense to go north). No digital at this theater so no chance to see the new 3d films.
