Aspen Dental

I read previous reviews about this location and was hesitant but I am glad I did not. Everyone there was great. They took the time to listen to my needs. The entire staff there is top notch. I guess some people cannot be pleased no matter what.

I didn't even get as far as even seeing the dentist. I set up a new patient appointment and was booked in advance at 3:30. I prepared by downloading their forms and filling them out so that I would be completely prepared for this appointment a head of time. Showed up - - they took my xrays, which only took 15 minutes - then had me sit in one of their chairs to wait for the dentist. AN HOUR later - not one person had talked to me, seen me - as matter of fact the only person I saw during that hour time was the cleaning lady. Does anyone actually WORK at Aspen Dental? After an hour of sitting there - I got up and left. Whoever was sitting at the reception desk could only say "I'm so sorry" - - I'm sure they are. I went in looking to have dental implants done - - probably about $6-8K worth of work - out of pocket (cash). If I were them, I'd be sorry too. No confidence in this place at all.

Set this place up as Primary Care Dentist (G'town) only to find they don't see kids under 8. Sent me to Waukesha facility (got appt immediately!). Only issue was ins mandated a referral from G'Town to Wauk Aspen. G'town ins personnel clueless so had to call Ins. Said she would call back. Called back the next morning (after our appt at Wauk ofc) & said she had the referral form for me to pick up. We needed to fill out some parts then it should be faxd to the ins. Asked her if she could call ins for me for fax #, she refused, said she couldn't. I told her to mail me the form and I will fax it to ins. I called ins for their fax # which I got. Boy, talk about making the customer do all the work. Ridiculous. Glad they don't have a pediatric DDS. Wouldn't want to go to a place where so little importance is put on the customer service!! Doesn't deserve a star at all.

I am very unahppy with my experience at Aspen Dental. The dentist caught my tongue with the drill on two seperate occassions. I was having two teeth capped and when filing down the exisiting teeth they didn't bother to rinse out my mouth at all. My experience with Aspen Dental was awful-awful-awful....
