Mr. Keatts graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He proceeded to the University of Maryland School of Law to earn his Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Keatts is a Former Assistant State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County who has dedicated his practice to criminal defense and has handled thousands of cases within this decade. He is admitted to State and Federal Courts including the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Keatts is also an adjunct professor at Anne Arundel Community College where he teaches for the Legal Studies Institute and has been a guest speaker for the Anne Arundel County Bar Association. "I always keep in mind that no matter how routine a process is to me, it is the most important thing in my clients' lives at the time and I need to represent them accordingly". Mr. Horton graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Thereafter, he attended the University of Maryland School of Law where he graduated with honors. He joined a private firm in downtown Baltimore in 2000 and in July, 2003, he and former prosecutor/fellow law graduate Jim Keatts opened their own practice in Anne Arundel County. He has tried to verdict a plethora of both civil and criminal cases including personal injury actions, breach of contract actions, financial fraud, and a myraid of criminal cases. Moreover, he has had the previledge to represent a divergent group of clients ranging from victims of domestic violence to corporations sued for monetary damages. "Given my representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in civil actions, I take pride in always knowing both sides of the fence before a single pleading is filed".
