The staff is incredible. They really listen to your stories about the item that you need to have framed. They use that information to turn your item into the finished piece of art that you were striving for--this is truly their talent. But, they are far more than your average framing shop. Their artistic talents exceed the realm of framing. They like challenges that have them thinking "outside the box". I have given them antique frames (that have seen better days) to be restored and through some miracle, them come back to me in amazing condition. But, most recently, what prompted me to write this review was the last project that I handed to them. It had nothing to do with framing, but since they are an artsy-fartsy group, I figured that if anyone could fix my problem, it was them...my nephew broke his grandmother's very old, very treasured, plaster statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is not worth much, monetarily speaking, but it belonged to her mother and then an older sister before her. In an attempt to save my nephew's inheritance, if not his life, I took it to the RAS to see if there was anything they could do. Let it suffice to say, that they exceeded my expectations. The statue looks no more worse for wear and my nephew can now attend family functions again.
