Golden Spur

I dropped in to have a steak. I think it was Monday or Tuesday this last week (11-19/20-2012), so it wasn't a busy night and the service was quite good. I ordered a rib eye steak (sometimes called a spencer steak, this beautiful cut of beef is sliced from the prime rib and cooked like a steak rather than roasted). I had a choice of side dishes of which I decided on the au gratin potatoes. For a beverage I thought a cocktail would be nice, Long Island Iced Tea is one of my favorates. The steak was okay but the au gratin potatoes stole the show! I thought they were very tasty. My drink was awful... plenty of alcohol but where was the love? All in all, although I enjoyed my experience, I probably won't go back as it was pricy and not any better then going to the local Sizzler (minus the mixed drink).
