The UPS Store

Wow...small businesses are complaining about rising taxes. You'd think they would go out of their way to deliver superior service and maximize every customer. Not so here. I spend several thousand dollars a year in shipping and am new to Golden. I went by this location to drop off a package for Christmas. My total charge was under $5 and they refused the accept my credit card. Fair enough. I realize it would have cost them money. But they lied saying the credit card company wouldn't accept small charges. Laughably untrue. But ok...maybe they are the one company in the world for whom this is true. But rude? No excuse for rude. There was no apology. No, we will hold this package until you have time to go home and grab some cash. Nothing. They tossed the package aside and said NEXT to the person behind me. Guess who just lost out on over $4,000 a year in shipping (what I spent in 2012). There is a FedEx store a few blocks east. Use them instead. Even the postal service isn't this indifferent and rude. Welcome to the UPS Store of Golden. Where we just don't care.

This is not a good location. I do much in the way of Ebay shipping, and to be honest they are overpriced and well not helpful. My last trip there, it was extremely expensive and when I asked about purchasing a mail box there I was totally ignored. I have done business with other Pack and ships and this one is the poorest I have ever run across. With the amount of shipping I was starting to do I felt like it would have been nice if I was offered a house account or something that would help save me a couple of dollars and at no time did either the owner or the employee talk to me. I am sorry guys you really are not giving the best customer service possible and with so many other stores out there you really need to get your game faces on. I would give them zero stars but one is because they were open.
