Trend Security Screens (TSS) is a subsidiary of Irving Trend Builders, Inc. We have been in the construction business for over 40 years. When we learned about TAPCO security screen products in 2012, we researched and quickly became so impressed with their quality and capability that we agreed to become the preferred North Texas dealer. Since TAPCO products are new to North Texas we have started aggressively marketing and educating consumers about how TAPCO screens can benefit homeowners, businesses, schools and anyone concerned about acquiring more effective security. We have included some videos from various areas around the country which demonstrate the qualities and capabilities we have referred to. Our primary market area includes Dallas, Tarrant, Wise, Denton, Colin, Parker, Rockwall, Kaufman, Johnson, and Ellis counties. Projects outside our primary market area will be considered on a case by case basis. Tapco screens were originally designed for protection of windows and doors in hurricane prone areas. These screens are manufactured in such a way to withstand hurricane forces up to a Class IV. In our area, the closest thing to our security screens are burglar bars, however with several differences: Both stop intruders, burglar bars to not provide an attractive appearance, burglar bars do not stop insects, burglar bars do not prevent glass breakage and finally Tapco screens help increase the energy efficiency where as burglar bars do not.

We are centrally located in Irving. About 95% of our work is within 50 miles of our office. For certain projects like TAPCO security screens we are willing to go further if we can justify it financially.
