        Dr. David Edelson is the founder and medical director of HealthBridge in Great Neck, NY. An Assistant Clinical Professor at Hofstra-Northwell School of Medicine, Dr. Edelson is widely recognized as one of the nation’s top weight loss experts. He has been selected for NY Magazines’ “Best Doctors″ issues as well as the prestigious Castle Connolly Top Regional Doctors award. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, is a two-time recipient of the Faculty Teaching Award at LIJ Medical Center,. He also was awarded a Fellowship in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Edelson has published independent research in the Journal of the American Diabetes Association as well as the journal Nutrition, and has been featured in articles in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, LA Times, Women’s Day as well as many others. He has also appeared nationally on CBS The Early Show, Fox Morning News, CNN.com and FIT TV as an expert in fitness and weight loss. Dr. Edelson can also be heard on Sirium XM Doctor Radio (Channel 110) as a regular monthly guest discussing the latest news in primary care and weight loss on Wednesdays at 8 am and 8pm.         Best doctor I have ever had

        From my first appointment with Dr. E, he spent 2 hours with me understanding my background and frustrations. And he helped me when no one else seemed able. I feel I can ask him about anything and he is up on all the latest studies and has great answers for me. The only way I would change doctors is if I had to move far away.

        Amazing Doctor with a Big Heart

        I can not say enough about Dr. Edelson. He is a gifted doctor that can diagnosis complex problems and solve them. He really cares about you as a patient and goes above and beyond providing you with care and compassion. My entire family are under his care and we are so grateful to him.

        What a life changing expreience!!

        I have stuggled my entire life since I was 12 with my weight. I can say finally I feel in control. To be able to wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night without having to promise that "today is the day" that I will take control of my life is just the most wonderful feeling. I finally no longer hear that voice that says how heavy I am and how unattractive I am. With the help of Dr, Edelson I can finally feel confident at the old age of 61.
