Please stay away from this company, not only does their customer service suck ( door slammed on my face) they will rip you off in the end. My rent was raised every year, AC didn’t work and no one would answer or take responsibility and after I moved out they took all my deposit for deficiencies that were on the initial inspection and for cleaning, after I had already paid a cleaning service. Military people should stay away.

Military people need to stay away from this company. Customer service is terrible is the bottom line up front. I would not recommend them to anyone. I was double charged on my last month’s rent and instead of fixing the books the added the correct charge on top of the full month’s I already paid them. So they tried to triple charge me for 1/2 a month’s rent. When they admitted to this mistake instead of refunding my money they held it as ransom on top of my deposit. (Not sure if this is legal but I am researching this, if anyone knows something please share)This error was their mistake and the never fixed it. We also put in multiple work orders that were never answered such as the roof of the house we were renting sustained damage that was never assessed by the rental company, even with a work order. I have been a renter for 7 years with the military and never been treated so poorly and with a lack of respect. For real find a different rental company.

They were the first to open me the doors to get my own place when I arrived from PR while everyone else denied me they helped me and worked with me and it's like all business while your rent is up to date, they will not have any problems, I recommend them to closed eyes! In addition to being a business they are human and they are willing to help you as long as you also let them help!

I rented from Emily's rental from Jan 2015 till July 2015. I was currently serving as an active duty soldier single mom of two young children. It has taken me awhile to write this review, but just thinking of the company and how they may treat other families, motivated me to still write this over a year later.
It is a very long detailed story (and if anyone wishes to contact me I can provide details and evidence/photos -luvahapa@aol.com).
Long story short. I am usually a trusting of others, but their owner Kyle is one to watch. He is hard to reach for any matters unless he is looking for you. The company definitely represents more of the owner than the renter. So if you're the owner of the property, then maybe a better experience. The first three nights in the home, we had no heater - was not working. When expressed how inconvenient it was for my children and me, there was no resolve, meant other than it eventually got fixed and oh well attitude, then in the month of march a water pipe broke and they initially assumed it was something I had caused. Why would I flood out my home and property just to live in a hotel for four weeks? Again, NO compensation for the inconvenience nor sympathy. There were so many issues with the circuit breaker activated and not activating, the flooding left a smell that never went away despite constant communication with the company. Some electrical circuits did not work after the flood, there's are much more issues that I would get into further but I hope whoever reading gets the jest of what I'm conveying. In the end, they even took my security deposit for three picture hanging nails holes in the wall which 2/3 were already there and never fixed from the previous renters.
Please go to Linneman or another property. I actually lived in a nice neighborhood on Siltstone close to the "premier' of killeen Harker Heights.

I used This company for property Management. Please do not, I repeat do not use this company for you property management company. Kyle Wheatly assured me that I did not need my current home warranty because he is a contractor and would have anything fixed in the house for a reasonable price. That was a bold face lie. He charged up close to $3000.00 worth of fees after a tenant was evicted and I did not recieve a rent payment for 5 months. I wrote to him about descrepancies in the charges and duplicate charges and he did not reimburse me. needless to say I terminated the contract and went with another management company. Please do not use this company and if you do you were warned.

My wife and I are completely s...

My wife and I are completely satisfied with our 14 plus years business relationship with “Emily’s Rentals”. We have interacted with the company as both renters and rental property owners. Also, we have purchased multiples properties through the company’s sister company. As renters, we enjoyed an average work order turnaround time of 48-72 hours; in some cases, based on the severity of the shortcoming, the response time was less than 24 hours. The staff was very efficient in regard to required notifications. We are elated with the company’s management of our rental property since 1999. Tenant selection, property maintenance and expense control have been excellent. Most of all, we are impressed with the honesty and integrity displayed by both owners and employees. Communication with the company is superb. I feel that I can call at any time and receive professional customer care that is beyond reproach. The staff has helped us many times by recommending individuals for maintenance projects at both our rental property and own residence. We rely on the staff’s expertise both in leasing and maintenance. It makes our lives a lot easier not having to worry about the day to day management of the property. Over the years, we have recommended “Emily’s Rentals” to numerous individuals including colleagues, friends, and family members, and all are very satisfied with the results that were produced by the company. Based on our experiences with other firms, “Emily’s Rentals” is the first and last stop for rental housing and property management services in the Central Texas area. In regard to the previously posted negative comments, a lease is a legally binding document. It is the responsibility of the signatories to have read and fully understood the document's contents. We look forward to many more years of exceptional service.

I just wanted to file a review to say thank you for your help on selling this property.

It may have taken a few months to sell, but we finally got there. It was also a pleasure working with Melissa.

I also wanted to say thanks for all the help over the years as you managed the rental property.

I didn’t realize it has been almost 15 years since I started using your group to manage my property.

You have managed my property over the coarse of my Military Career, and I truly feel that you looked after my property as if it were your own.

It has been a pleasure working with you. You and your team have been nothing less than professional throughout this whole time.

Definetly would not reccommend, this company just wants to rip you off , its a disgrace how they treat someone who is fighting for their country!!!!! Have some RESPECT!! Reading the reviews, Its funny how they only comment back on the bad reviews just to try and make themselves look better, wish I would have read BEFORE I decided to go with them!! So my situation was we moved into their property In June, when we moved in they gave us an Inventory and Condition Form to write down any damages already made prior to us moving in. There was alot of obvious damage done to the home, holes on the walls, doors, nail holes, stains on the carpet that looked like they couldnt be removed, stains on tile, etc. We were told to turn it in within 48 hrs. Which we did. This company was good up until it was time to move out (probably because I had no need to communicate between those times). Anyway like I said we moved in in June and my husband got orders to deploy the beginning of July so we used the Military Addendum to break contract. We were given a list of Move out and cleaning instructions....which I followed step by step. We had set up a date for the Final Inspection and they emailed me the comformation of dates and in that email it also said if I needed to change the date for inspection to contact them immidiatley, which I did. I asked to have the date changed to a couple days later and whomever I spoke with ( I should have asked for a name) gave me a time and the DATE I ASKED for. So I planned everything from the carpet cleaners to the pest inspector to me moving 6 HOURS AWAY, around the date I asked to be changed to. Well the day came for the Final Inspection, and I was waiting there forvever until I finally called them to see what was going on. Turns out they DIDNT CHANGE the date I asked for them to change it to (due to lack of professionalism at which the person I spoke to did not note my request to change the dates) and kept the original date...I was so furious...I couldnt just wait around I had already sent my children back home and I needed to leave, When I asked if they could just squeeze me in they basically told me....Its your fault, we are not going to do anything about it..... I stressed to them how I really didnt feel comfortable with them doing the inspection without me present. They're response was.....take pictures......which I did. So a month from my move out date has passed, and exactly what I feared would happen, HAPPENED!! They are charging me for damages I didnt make, holes on the walls and touch up paint that is costing me $300!!! I have asked them repeatedly to go over everything again cause I marked down all the previous damage in the inventory from, and Ive sent them emails containing pictures of the damage, yet they've done NOTHING, and they continue to give me the run around. I have a copy of the inventory form that shows everything they want to charge me for. Now another thing, I only lived in that DAMN house 1 1/2 months!!!!! How could I have possibly made so much damage in that little amount of time!! It doesnt add up & I feel as though this company has taken advantage of our situation. Its sad how they treat a service member and his family...being an army spouse and moving constantly I AM very familar with renting, and they're expectations pertaining to move out, But NEVER have I experienced such ugly behavior. I am moving back to the area when my husband returns, but this is one company I will MOST DEFINETLY AVOID, and I reccommend other service members do the same!!!

I have rented for many, many years and truly this rental company does not take care of it's residents. I concur with the other opinion. I was also burglarized and then charged for the repair of my door. The repair of my door consisted of maintenance taking a hammer and straightening the door locking mechanism. THAT IS IT. Rental insurance ONLY covers the contents of the apartment NOT structure and the rental company/landlord SHOULD make it THEIR responsibility to repair any doors or locks that was due to burglary or crime. That is just good business and makes the tenant feel good. Also when I first moved in I had a LONG list of things wrong with the apartment such as no smoke detector in the bedroom and It hasn't ben fixed over 1 yr later. You have to basically stay on top of them to fix anything and GOD forbid they charge YOU for that repair when it should be THEIR responsibility. I would not rent from this company ever again.

It would be nice if all of the details would be disclosed. Patricia lives in the same building as Ms Haynes. I was later discovered that Ms Haynes ex was the one who kicked the doors in. I personally called Patricia who still occupies the property. After the incident the door was SECURED. She was informed that under her TAA lease that she would be responsible for the repair. She stated that she had Allstate insurance but did not file a cliam and did not informe the agent that it was her responsibility under the TAA lease for the repair. She wanted the owner to pay the cost and to file on his insurance. Even if it wasthe owners responsibility, the damage was less that the deductable of the Home owners insurance. The door was secured the same day. A new door and jamb was orderedand installed. Patricia just felt that it was NOT FAIR tht she should pay the cost. The property owner also has a copy of the lease and expects the tenant to fullfill he contractual part of the lease. As for the smoke detector there is one that is hardwired in the hall adjecant to the bedrooms, which was the requirment when the property was built. Patricia has been a tenant for multiple renewals, and we have to follow the lease that she signed.

This listing has been claimed by a business representative.
