for you and your better half. Hubby and I make our pilgrimage there at least once a year. Sure the atmosphere is rough, but the food is top notch. To us the best thing on the menu is the lobster tails. Small ones are around 12 oz. Large ones can run as high 32 ounces and are still as sweet and tasty as you'd expect. After visiting there for the past 15 years, still can't comment on the desserts. Never have room for it.

On the outside, the Glass Lounge Restaurant may look like just another bar and grill, but don't let it's unassuming exterior and slightly crowded, informal interior fool you. Once you get a look at the menu, and taste the food, you'll look around you and wonder if somehow you landed at a fancy upscale restaurant.
They have a steak there that's big enough to feed a small family of 10 (and that's not including the salad and sides)! If you order the pasta and scallops, make sure you REALLY want scallops (you're not gonna get a measly 3 or 4 of them)! I ordered the seafood platter, and I thought for sure I must have stepped into a seaside restaurant instead of one along the banks of the Susquehanna River! I hadn't had seafood that good since I ate a seafood restaurant near Daytona Beach! The scallops were melt-in-your-mouth good and didn't have that tinny taste that scallops sometimes have when they're not quite fresh. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the desserts there, because I didn't have room for any, nor did anyone else in our party!
The service was friendly and welcoming, even though we came in as a large group with no reservations. They were very accomodating and especially patient with the special-needs young adults in our party. We couldn't have asked for more gracious wait staff.
The prices were, I'd say, in the moderate to expensive range, but you truly get what you pay for, not to mention a wonderful meal for Fido when you get home, because you definitely won't be leaving without a doggie bag!
I was so impressed with the Glass Lounge Restaurant that, after just a few bites of my dinner, I was making plans to return and trying to think of all the people I knew that I could recommend it to.
