Emergency Care
He has been serving in the executive council of Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians of North America (APPNA) since 1997 in various capacities. He is the founding president of the Allama Iqbal Medical College Alumni Association of North America (AIMCANA) and has served on the executive committee of this organization for the past 18 years as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and serves as chairperson of election and nomination committee. AIMCANA raises funds for philanthropic goals, averaging $60,000- 75,000 annually and has contributed to many projects including supplying personal protective equipment (PPE) in the pandemic, loans for medical graduates, medical supplies, as well as helping the college establish and upgrade services such as equipping a new emergency room facility, charitable activities, and supporting the education & training of young faculty members. He was also the founding president of the Connecticut chapter of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (CT-APPNA). He has helped organize several educational conferences nationally and internationally, along with free health clinics in the state. Dr. Mirza also has held various leadership positions in the Association of Pakistani Cardiologists of North America (APCNA), and has served as an elected president of the organization. He has continued to serve on its executive committee for the last six years. He is involved in the signature project of APCNA, which is to provide free pacemaker & defibrillator devices to indigent patients in Pakistan with annual budget of $80,000-90,000. This project has established five pacemaker banks in various cities of Pakistan providing on average one hundred devices annually, for which he helps organize fundraising events locally.

Internal Medicine
Doctor Glew is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular interpretation. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. He also served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
