Hānaiakamalama, or the Queen Emma Summer Palace as it is known today, served as a retreat for Queen Emma of Hawaiā€˜i from 1857 to 1885. It is a now a historic house museum and landmark preserved and operated by the Daughters of Hawaiā€˜i.
