My wife and I looked into a Dupure treatment system because of the severe water spotting that started to occur on our sink faucets and shower door shortly after moving into our new home. A secondary concern was the strong chlorine odor and undesirable taste of our water. Since we had our installation, the drastic improvement in water quality was immediately noticeable. Spotting of sink fixtures was virtually eliminated and our tap water no longer smells like it came out of a swimming pool. The reverse osmosis drinking water is as good as the best bottled water, only without the bulky water dispenser in our kitchen. I would highly recommend a Dupure water system.
