Hoag's Plumbing & Heating Inc

Stay away from Hoag's! It's sad, but I grew up in Humboldt in the 1970s when Hoag's had a good reputation. Now, everyone who has dealt with them tells me to stay away. I called and talked to the current owner Duane on Saturday and asked if he could send someone to fix a clog in my bathroom sink. He said he would send someone. I never heard back, so called him on Wednesday when I got home from work. He said he was on his way, so I waited 2 hours to fix supper! I told the guys at work about it the next day. One guy told me how to fix it myself, and another guy said Hoag's charged him over $300 just to put a seal around is toilet. He tried to talk them down, but they would not budge. He told them he would never do business with them again. My step-mom's friend had them look at her A/C, and they told her she needed a new one (cental error). She had a guy from Livermore look at it, and he said she didn't need a new one (and fixed it). I would rate them 0 star if I could, but will give the scum bag 1 star. STAY AWAY FROM HOAG'S!!!!!!!
