Tried to use this place to get a simple cleaning -- twice.
First time, I called ahead, said no problem, filled out paperwork and waited 3 (THREE) hours, then left in disgust.
Second time, I again called ahead, was there one hour before closing, then a dental tech says they might not be able to get my cleaning done that night, that I would likely have to come back. When asking about how long it would take, she couldn't give me an answer and said there are different kinds of cleanings.
Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time -- don't be fooled by the extended evening hours -- they also only do cleanings at the Southside locations on Wednesdays.
Good luck.

The worst experience I've ever had! My story - my dentist was closed on Friday and I would have had to go all weekend in pain from an aching tooth, so, I decided to try Immediadent, since they are open 9am to 9pm, and welcome walk ins. I called them to verify they were open, they said to come on in. I walked in at noon, and was told the doctor wasn't due in until 5pm. I came back at 5pm. I was told it would cost $225 to do x-rays and exam. I told them I think I know what tooth it is, and had to work a 12 hour day Saturday outside in the heat, and just wanted him to check the tooth and prescribe antibiotics and something for pain until I could see my dentist Monday. I was informed that would cost $223 just to look at one tooth. I had no choice, I needed something for pain, so I agreed to the x-rays and exam (since it was only $2 more) They obviously wanted to get their $200 out of me, either way. After the exam, the doctor told me the tooth needed to come out, and it would cost another $300. I told him I just wanted something to carry me over until Monday. He said the only way to fix the problem is take the tooth out now. I told him I couldn't afford another $300 on top of the $200 I'm paying for the exam. So he told me to go home and take ibuprophen (which is what I had been doing and didn't help). So, basically, I paid $200 for nothing. I got upset about this, and explained I had a 12 hour work day tomorrow and needed something to help me get through it. He finally decided he would give me a prescription for antibiotics and pain medication to get me through my 12 hour day. When I got to the pharmacist, he had not given me a script for antibiotics, just the pain meds. Without both, I suffered severe pain until I saw my dentist Monday. The worst part - when I saw my dentist Monday,he informed me that the tooth that immediadent wanted to take out was not the problem. And my dentist charges nothing for the exam or x-rays!
I'm so glad I didn't have the money at the time, or I would have have still been in pain, and be minus a tooth that did not have to be removed.
I should have just gone to med check. It would have been cheaper and they would have helped me until I could see my dentist.
I DO NOT recommend this place, and hope people read the reviews before they decide to go.

Immediadent of Southport and 31 in Indianapolis is by far the worst dentist I have ever been to.
My story:
I went to Immediadent with a horrible toothache(with an appt. made over the phone). The place is dirty(bathroom filthy) and after waiting for about 1 hour and a half, all the while listening to a teenage girl screaming and crying for 15 min, I get in for my exam. They take X-rays and tell me I can either get it pulled or get a root/canal crown. I opt to get it pulled because the other is way too expensive, even with my insurance. I make an appointment for the next week because I get paid on that day and won't be able to make the copay until then(sorry for being poor). They send me on my way with Tylenol 3 w/codeine for pain and penicillin for the infection, WHICH I WROTE AND TOLD THEM I WAS ALLERGIC TO. Not realizing I received this, the pharmacist reminds that I got something that I am allergic too so I leave it there. After taking some of the Tylenol 3, it makes me nauseous so I call them back and tell them that I need to switch that AND the antibiotics that I am allergic too. They said that they would talk to the dentist and call me back. After a shower and some chores I check my phone and listen to a voicemail they gave me. It says that I can come back and pick up the new prescriptions that evening. As I'm leaving my wife says that they called and she answered and they something about going back in or something, that's all I got. I get there and GET TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL, when I ask for my new medicines, the large, low voiced lady asks me if I brought in my Tylenol 3?? I am confused and they said they told my wife to tell me to bring them in in order to get new pain medicine?? I told them that she didn't and that the voicemail didn't say anything like that and they ACTED LIKE I WAS SUSPECT #1!! The entire staff was walking away from me, talking about me, saying things like "what are you thinking" and "did you think you'd get away with this". The dentist, who was nice, said it's no big deal and gave a very expensive antibiotic and darvocet, which does absolutely nothing for my pain. Oh well, I guess I will suffer until the appointment because I'm in too much pain to start over and wait for a new dentist. Nobody should ever go here.
