Botanica Nursery & Landscape

We are new to SC and to understanding the best plants to grow in this area. After much research we choose Botanica for our landscaping needs. James Bryan, the owner is extremely knowledgeable of all types of plants and their adaptability and guided us in selection of flowering, evergreens and palms. We also added boulders to our landscape and a retaining wall. We are amazed by the outcome and could not be happier. Thank you for a job well done!

We recently moved to South Carolina to be near children and grandchildren in our retirement. One of the many services we needed was landscaping for our new home on Lake Murray. Botanica on Dutch Fork RD was highly recommended by more than one person. The owner James Brian is a master of botany. Plants, Palms, Shrubs , Grass all of it. Once we met on-site we knew we made the right choice. He knew what to do, where the plantings needed to be and executed all of it like a master class artist.

Large Variety of Plants for a good price. Very friendly staff. James Bryan has a lot of knowledge on what plants work in our area.

Out of the $3000 worth of plants I purchased from them, approximately $500 dollars worth are dead. James will not return my calls or emails to address this even though he guarantees the plants for a year.

Two months to get my plants planted after a $2000 deposit. Once planted $500 worth died and now a month and a half later, no phone call or visit to replace.

I feel that this business got my money and now they won't keep their word. For $3000 I should have an immaculate garden, but I don't. It looks terrible and like an amateur did it. I will update this review if he ever keeps his words and makes it right.
