IHOP

During my visit to New Jersey, I visited IHOP on Springfield Ave. Upon entering the door, Eli a front end host, answered the phone several times and repeatedly requested customers to hold for a minute. He was instructed by other employee to help the line of customers. (extending out the front door). With several grunts and groans, Eli completed the orders of those standing in front of him. I requested a commentary because my place in line was first but he conveniently communicated with friends at the back of the line. When asked my name I ended up spelling the name while he answered another phone call. Customers behind me asked what I ordered as if I were holding up the line.

I complained to IHOP management about overlooking that line of customers or the lack of customer services from this employee. One customer behind me butted in and stated, "HE acts like that with all customers!" I'm sorry but you tell me when phone calls are more important then the line of customers standing in front of you. Sorry, no more of my money will be spent there!
