River Valley Veterinary Clinic

This is our vet that we use & on the 4th our dog started to get sick more than we have ever seen. So we called Dr. Carr's office & he answered which was awesome. He gave us some ideas on things to try to help our Boji. But unfortunately the night he only got worse so we called the vet right away (7a.m.) the next morning & left a message explaining how our Boji had not gotten better but actually worse & we were extremely concerned. We got a call back 30min later from Dr Carr telling my husband that he had no time & was completely booked full today & that we should try to call around & get him elsewhere.
Ummm 1st thing we would want to take a member of our family to someone we don't know or trust yet??! (we wouldn't) 2nd if we are calling the vet at 7a.m. clearly we feel Boji life could be in jeopardy & this is a damn emergency which I do believe this kind of situation happens from time to time in fact it was actually happening at his office not long when I had stop in to pick up Boji pills with someone else pet.
Plus the fact that any decent human who has any love for animals would understand if their appointment was pushed back so that the Doctor could 1st attend to the pet who needs to be seen due to declining health in the last 24hrs I no would completely understand & hope our vet would put the pet who is clearly sick 1st.

But apparently not Dr Carr unless he happens to have openings the day your pet has a medical emergency.
If not then he would rather you frantically call around trying to get your pet into a complete stranger in your time of need.

It seems very messed up to us & disheartening that he would treat his patients this way. I am still shocked over the fact as we had really liked & bragged to each other how great Dr. Carr & his stuff was well at least up until now.
