Although we provide services through over 100 caregivers spread across the Jackson Metro area and North Mississippi, we take pride in personally matching the personalities, talents, and strengths of our sitters to your specific need. Over the past decade, Sitters has helped hundreds of families like yours find the perfect fit. Our goal and our passion is to provide trustworthy, qualified, and compassionate care to your loved ones, while maintaining our reputation in our communities for reliability, flexibility and affordable rates. Mature and experienced caregivers are 21 years old or above. In addition to national background checks, all caregivers must have at least 2 years experience, complete in-depth applications and interviews, and provide reference checks and employer verifications.         Sitters, LLC assists families by providing experienced, compassionate caregivers for children, adults and the elderly in private homes, hospitals, churches, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Our care-giving sitters collectively hold decades of experience in personal care for adults and children alike.
        Location
        Our office is located in Suite 282 in Highland Village on I-55 North, serving the Jackson, MS Metro area. We also serve North Mississippi from our Oxford, MS location.
        Amenities
        Our Childcare Services are varied and tailored to individual needs, including personal involvement with child(ren), creative activities with child(ren), meal preparation and feeding, cleaning dishes/kitchen used during shift, assisting child(ren) with picking up toys, washing/drying clothes soiled during shift, keeping child(ren) clean, and transportation. Adult Care- Whether part time or around the clock, we offer respite to family caregivers, promoting independence in the home as an alternative to institutional living. When providing care at a facility, we work cooperatively with each client support system, including families, medical personnel and facility staff, to assure every need of our client is met. This may include: personal care, bathing, dressing, eating, drinking, monitoring diet, grooming, hygiene, mobility, medication reminder, general housecleaning, changing linens, planning, preparing and cleaning up of meals, companionship and conversation, reminders for/escort to appointments, respite care for families, Alzheimers care, aid in recovery from illness or injury. Cleaning- With the busy schedules of families today, we realize there may be little time for upkeep in the home. Therefore, we also offer professional cleaning services for the home and office.

        All services requested for my family member are listed among those on this company's website yet sitters did not provide the services for which they were hired. Sitters were asked to provide baths three times weekly and hygiene care daily yet both were unsatisfactorily performed. Sitters fed the same family-prepared food dishes repeatedly because it was convenient rather than planning and preparing meals as the website states. Either sitters are improperly trained, lazy or both.

        The owner pushes certain sitters. If those aren't a good fit, she continues to push that sitter rather than expertly matching client and sitter as the website claims.

        Sitter schedules were not discussed with the client much less a timely schedule provided. When sitters communicated the schedule, the owner became angry and unreasonable.

        The owner is often unavailable yet insists clients talk with her about scheduling. When changes occur, the client is not notified. When the owner is available, conversations are abrupt and rude at times. Yelling at a client is certainly not beyond the realm of possibility as it happened to us.

        Office staff preparing invoices and disseminating schedules lack attention to detail provide timely schedule provided.

        Sitters, LLC provided great sitters for my father during his illness. The caregivers were kind, loving and went above and beyond to keep my father comfortable. The owner of the company is extremely easy to work with and she quickly customized a solution that worked for my father. I highly recommend Sitters, LLC.
