Bend of the River Apartments

Great Place if you are looking for a sense of community and a quiet neighborhood. I have lived here for 8 years and I dont plan on moving as time soon.

We lived there for over 3 years. There are always water leaks problems, and only one maintance guy is available for the whole apt. The apt is not in good shape at all... they are now starting to raise the rent for all renter and try to cover up the ugliest by doing a little more landscaping around. We have been wanting to move for a long time, the only reason that we live there for so long because we have big dog, and not many apt accept big dog around here. There is a trial for your dog to walk... but aother than that, nothing is worth living there. Neighbors are loud, they park places that dont belong to them. invite friends and let them park to the assigned parking .... there are multiple crimes around this apt since i have lived here. We always get refund from other apt when we left because we clean up before we move out. We recently bought a condo and got a bill for 710 for apt repairing cost!! They deduct 225 from pet deposit but still leave us almost 500 to take care of. We clean everything and they charge everything, things that shouldnt be charged will still be listed in your bill. We clean everything and they said the sink, closet, floor, toliet, wall, DOORS, window, deck, towel holder, cabinet, everything is dirty! thye charge us 85 dollars for wall paint for each room, 5 - 25 dollars for each dirty item they claim they found. Hello?!? we cleaned them!!! we knew it and how can they said we didnt!! it wasnt new when we first move in and now they are charging us like they want us to give them new accessories and wall painting!! Maintance fixed our closet before and left a few scratches and now they charge us for their scratches!

We have a lot of problems in our unit and ask for repair for 3 years and no one come fix it and now they start charging us for that. We pick up our dogs after they poop, and the management starts sending letter to all residents that they are going to get charge 25 dollars a month if someone is not picking up their dogs.

There are no facilities around to offer except a little dog playground and they said they are going to take that away if they see poop on the ground. They punish ppl who has nothing to do with the problem. Dont not move in there!!! If you are currently living in this apt, i would recommend you to either take pictures before you leave the place and fight for the compensation for later or dont not clean up anything at all since they are going to charge for everything.
