The Public Building Authority offers a range of property management and development services to the residents of Knox County and Knoxville City in Tennessee. It establishes budgets and selects architectural and engineering team. The authority provides a variety of construction, design, programming and project management services. The Public Building Authority also offers a range of planning, supervision and report forecasting solutions. It provides facility management services for various properties, including public parks and parking garages and lots. The authority offers horticultural, custodial, security and life safety services. The Public Building Authority maintains a staff of more than 90 employees. The authority has completed projects for Old Knox County Courthouse, Lawson McGhee Library and Locust Street Parking Garage.
