Lake Orion Party Rentals

I was greatly disappointed in the quality of the round tables, white chairs, banquet table and fill and chill tables I rented for a surprise birthday party. The wood tables had large chunks missing, jagged splintery edges,,,most of the round tables' metal edges were loose and some were "repaired" with duct tape. The chairs were dirty and several were unusable because of missing leg caps. One of the chill and fill tables had a large cracked/busted spot and we had to improvise with plastic table clothes so we could still fill it with ice and not cause a leak.
I chose this company to work with because they had lower prices than their competitors. However, their prices were not so much lower to merit the very poor quality of the rented goods.
Additionally, don't try to communicate with this company via email. I had to follow up every email from beginning to end with a phone call or two, and got all kinds of excuses why the email had not been returned in a timely manner. The email I sent a week ago regarding my concerns has not been responded to, either.

I agree with the comment from Kieth B. The good part was we didn't get a chance to get crappy tables and chairs because it never got that far. The manager/owner guy seems to feel he is too busy to actually run his business. We had a party and had a set time to get chairs and tables delivered. It was agreed upon (so I thought) A few email confirmations were ignored and the deadline passed. I expected a nice apology or solution, but the owner is rushed and talks on his cell to you like he is in a boiler room selling penny stocks or used cars.



He actually told us he doesn't have to time to answer the phones and talk about things. When I said I sent a few emails to get an update on why it was late ( I didn't want to waste time with questions) he told me he doesn't have time to answer emails all day.



So he is too busy for emails and calls, even when he drops the ball. I am in the business world and I would put a shoe on one of my employees backsides if they did that. Bottom line the guy sounds like he is all about the money. If he has crappy stuff, then his low price and crappy service and attitude wont last long.
