General Info: Founded in 1998, the Intensive Learning Center is an elementary school that serves more than 700 students. It has a staff of over 30 regular education teachers, specialists in Spanish and administrators. The center offers classes in foreign languages, technology, science and physical education. The Intensive Learning Center s campus includes nearly 40 education classrooms and computer and science laboratories, as well as an automated library and playground. Located in Lakewood, Calif., the Intensive Learning Center is a part of the Bellflower Unified School District, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
