Planet Beach

I purchased a small package to get an idea of what the quality of Planet Beach's spray tanners were like.

The first time I went to tan, the bronzer had run out of the booth and I was told by and employee who was training a new employee that "I didn't need the bronzer anyway...it wasn't important."

(The bronzer is essential to a good spray tan in order to indicate areas on your body that need to be blended or drops that need to be wiped off, etc. in order to get a good, even tan. Without the bronzer, the spray tan is ineveitibly uneven and splotchy.)

As I went to the back, I over heard the employee saying to the trainee "If you want to make any money here, you have to learn these things...turn off the bronzer when it is low and tell the customer not to turn it back on."



The second time I visited the salon, another employee was working. She had a friend visiting her and they were chatting and laughing at the front desk while eating their lunch. I checked in to tan and was sent back to my spray tanning booth. After 10 minutes of waiting naked in a cold booth for the computer to be activated, I finally wrapped a towel around myself and walked up to the front to ask her to turn the booth on!! She laughed and said "OOPS! We were talking and I forgot! Then she finally activated the booth so I could tan.



Fortunately, the package I purchased was only 2 tans, because with the experience I had, I wouldn't have returned for a third one, even if I had paid for it.

I got better results self-tanning at home with products I purchased at Target!!

Heed my warning and don't bother to waste your time or money on terrible customer service and a very low quality product.
